Local commuter options include fare-free public transportation connecting Upper Valley villages and towns. AMTRAK provides direct rail service to New York City, Burlington, Vermont, New Haven, Connecticut, and with connecting service to Boston. The crossroads of Interstates 89 and 91 make Montreal, Boston, and New York City only a few hours drive away.
